My son went back home today.

But feeling OK, because we are all going on holiday in a few weeks time.

Had an interview today, it was a job I would not normally have gone for, but I thought, why not! I can do what I like. Would probably have taken it, and then given in my notice when I got the job of my dreams.

Well, I walked into the room. The guys who interviewed me were friendly enough. One was roughly the same age as myself, and the other was more than half my age.

They spoke, I listened. They asked, I answered. All was as it should be, then, the younger guy pulled out his mobile and started messaging. 

Am I really that boring lol lol. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry, so I pretended he wasn't doing it. Thinking about it, I wonder if I accidentally gave him a look of contempt. My face does occasionally express itself, without any intervention on my part. lol

It was totally unprofessional. Even if they had no intention of giving me the job, they should at least have acted in a professional manner. Come on guys, play the game. 

They said they would ring. They didn't say when. Since all the interviews ended at two, it seems unlikely that I got the job. Which is a bit of a relief, seeing that it would have meant working at nights on a casual basis. 

But seeing he loved his mobile so much, it would not have hurt him  to message me. 

They said they would ring. But that's men for you. lol.

What's next?

There's a job I need to apply for tomorrow.
